The task of the query optimizer is to accept as input a tree of relational algebra operators and to produce a query execution plan. This plan specifies exactly which operations should be performed, in which order. Algebra space can express the solution space, whereas a good search algorithm can finding an optimal solution. In this work a genetic algorithm with two crossover strategies will be tested on a B+ tree sorted database example and nested loop join strategy. The results show that using M2S crossover with left-deep strategy will give better solutions.

The classic Traveling Salesman Problem (TSP) has been frequently used as a test bed for the study of new local search techniques developed for general circuit-based permutation problems, local search heuristics for the traveling salesman problem (TSP) is chiefly based on algorithms using the classical Lin-Kernighan (L-K) procedure, La Lena simple genetic algorithm. This work give a detailed description of the three genetic solutions for this problem and found that genetic algorithms different in behavior according to the tour length.

Study of MINQUE and Simple estimator of Covariance Matrix in the multivariate linear Model

Under the multivariate linear model equality of MINQUE and so called "simple" estimator with , for Σ is considered. It is revealed that this equality holds if and only if the quadratic form admits a Wishart-distribution under multivariate normality of Y. Also comparison of MINQUE and simple estimator of Σ in the multivariate normal linear model under the risk of entropy loss function criterion where the design matrix X need not have full rank and the dispersion matrix V can be singular A is considered . It is interested to prove that MINQUE is superior to simple estimator OLSE

The theory of measure is an important subject in mathematics; in Ash [4,5] discusses many details about measure and proves some important results in measure theory.
In 1986, Dimiev [7] defined the operation addition and multiplication by real numbers on a set , he defined the operation multiplication on the set E and prove that E is a vector space over R and for any a>1 Ea is field, also he defined the fuzzifying functions on arbitrary set X.
In 1989, Dimiev [6] discussed the field Ea as in [7] and defined the operations addition, multiplication and multiplication by real number on a set of all fuzzifying functions defined on arbitrary set X, and also defined -measure on a measurable space and proved some results about it.

The Dynamics Of Tri-Trophic Food Web Model With Mixed Selection Of Functional Responses

In this paper, a tri-trophic food web model with mixed selection of functional responses is proposed and analyzed. It is assumed that, the food web system consisting of one prey and two predators, in which there is an explicit inter-specific competition between the two predators. Dynamical behavior of all possible equilibrium points has been investigated locally as well as globally. Sufficient conditions for the system to be uniformly persistent and / or extinction have been derived.
